Make a field contingent on another field

A data field in a form can be designed to be contingent (dependent) on another field in the same form.

The field that has the contingency is the dependent field. The field that triggers the change when the contingency is met is the trigger field. When the trigger field changes because the user adds or changes the value, the dependent field is refreshed by evaluating the conditions.
